It is with great sadness and deep love that we announce the peaceful passing of George Fumimaro Iwata on February 5, 2026, at the age of 87.

George is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of nearly 57 years, Angelita; his son Macario; and his daughter Tamiko (Greg). He was a proud and cherished grandfather to Khalea (Weylin), Brittany (Kris), Sebastian, and Nile, all of whom will miss their beloved “Gigi” deeply.

A true gentleman, George will be remembered for his kindness, quiet strength, and generosity of spirit. As one of eight children, family meant everything to him, and his loved ones have found great comfort in the many treasured memories shared by his nieces and nephews.
